Brothers’ Grimm Fairy Tales
Collage Sheets

Matte (not shiny) clear stickers. Not die-cut, but as the stickers are clear, you needn't cut perfectly. Archival and permanent adhesive. See ATC sample above (using the Crows #2 collage sheet) by Wendy Anderson.

Children's and Household Tales (German: Kinder-und Hausmärchen) is a collection of German-origin fairy tales first published in 1812 by Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, the Brothers Grimm. The collection is commonly known today as Grimm's Fairy Tales (German: Grimms Märchen).

All of our collage sheets are archival, are 8.5 x 11" in size, and coordinate with our rubber stamps.

The cardstock, clear stickers, and acetate transparency sheets are laser-printed.

We have changed our fabric (for the fabric collage sheets) to a heavier weight cotton (still 100% cotton). The thicker cotton really soaks up the ink — see this sample showing the same file printed on the old and new fabrics.

Spinning Wheel

When Sleeping Beauty was a baby, she was cursed by a fairy to fall into a deep sleep of a hundred years if she should ever prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel. The King then ordered all spinning wheels to be burned. However, when Sleepng Beauty was fifteen or sixteen, she found a room in the castle with an old woman using a spinning wheel.

Jousting

Beautiful images of knights on horseback and a few ladies sending them off to battle. Some from Pre-Raphaelite tapestries, with lovely muted colors. (Not a clear link to Grimm... but could be backgrounds and they work with all those castles.)

Cinderella & Birds

The German versus French versions of Cinderella vary in certain details (like the clothes for the Ball in the French version being provided by the fairy-godmother, instead of by the birds that Cinderella had befriended in the German version).

Other sheets with birds: Ravens & Crows, Blackbirds, All About Birds, Parrots, M for Magpie, Aesop's Fables - Watercolors, Cinderella Borders.
