Vintage Birds & More Halloween

Conservatory 12x12 Paper Set
Gorgeous, collaged designs from antiquarian bird prints. Three 12" x 12" double-sided sheets. Shown in sample art, by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel, using a Bird Trinket Keepsake Kit (more on that below), Mini Bird Eggs, a Lock Charm and a Key Charm.

Conservatory 8x8 Paper Pack
8" x 8" double-sided, heavy sheets sheets (slivers of a few of the designs at far right; these papers are miniatures of some of the sheets in the 12x12 Paper Set, above). Set of 48 sheets (8 each of 6 designs). Bird Trinket Keepsake Kit
Adorable little laser-cut 1/8" masonite kit to put together two birds. The cut-out window has about 1/4" depth. Tip to tail is approx. 2-1/4". Instructions included.

Mini Bird Eggs
Tiny plastic, speckled bird eggs (hollow). Some are more greenish than the blue ones photographed (but the tiniest bit of paint can change them to any color you'd like).

Flora & Fauna Labels
Beautiful collages of vintage illustrations. More than 100 lovely flora and fauna stickers on an ivory stock, from the Cavallini archives.

Bird Branch Alphabet Clear Stamp Set (at near right)
A quirky serifed alphabet... modern yet classic. Upper and lower case letters plus numerals, punctuation and symbols (birds, leaves, flowers, branches). The letters are approx. 1/4" tall (overall sets is 4 x 6").

Brackets and Tags Clear Stamp Set (at far right)
A coupon, a couple of bookplates, lines for a quote, a faux postage cancellation "Limited Edition, ____ of ____" and some borders for "handmade by" signatures. Coordinates with the "Bird Branch Alphabet" set.

A Few More (Fab) Halloween Goodies

Halloween in Wonderland 8x8 Paper Pack
A wonderful smash-up of Halloween and Alice in Wonderland (with a vague bit of The Wizard of Oz). 8" x 8" double-sided, heavy sheets sheets; 2 each of 10 designs. These papers are miniatures of the Halloween in Wonderland 12" x 12" papers, so you can see more of 6 of the patterns there. A couple of additional designs (not available in the larger 12" size) are also in this paper set.

Vampire Invitations
Cool invitations, but I can also imagine using portions in other Halloween collages. The die-cut envelope (printed on the inside with handwriting and blood drops) wraps around the invitation (and then seals with a sticker or a clear seal). Each set includes:
- Six invitations
- Six envelopes
- Six stickers (blood drops)
- 12 clear seals

Halloween Greetings Scrap Sheet
Double-sided cardstock, printed with lots of fun, retro images of witches, full moons, pumpkins & kids from vintage postcards, and a couple bingo cards. 8" x 19" sheet (folded in half for shipping). Note: These are not die cut or perfed; you'll need to cut out the images (but most of the images are laid out so when you cut out the pic on one side, a full image automatically gets cut out of the reverse side; perfect for tags where both sides will show).

Sheer Ribbons - Checkerboard Edge
Wired; 1-1/2" wide; black or orange (both with black and orange checked borders).

Ghosts Satin Cutouts Ribbon
A little puffy; their little eyes are cut-outs. Sold by the yard.

Resin Skull Beads
In my search for some nice, large skull beads (like those that Guest Designer Julie Zarate used in her fabulous Matchbox Shrine shown at far right) I found these resin ones. Skulls have holes from top to bottom. Approx. 3/4" x 3/4".

Skull Beads - Horizontal Hole
Double-sided (a face on both sizes); 11x8mm; 2.5mm hole. Antiqued plate over cast pewter. 3 color options:
- Copper
- Gold (not as antiqued as the other 2)
- Silver

2 Sets of Halloween Inchies Clear Stamps (with Acrylic Blocks)
Set of 9 "inchie" clear stamps (1" square) plus an acrylic mounting block. (Only 4 of the 9 images from each set are shown here.) Use one image repeatedly for a background (or mix some for a checkerboard effect, skipping every-other square). The "Haunted House" set has more architectural details (like skull bookends, door knocker, candelabra... and a haunted house).

Vampire Acetate Die-Cuts
Die-cut acetate (so edges that aren't printed are clear) and they're self-adhesive! Lots of fun halloween shapes: vampire silhouettes (in 3 poses), bats, chandelier, tombstones, owls, full moon... Set of 36 pieces.

Miscellaneous

Masonite ATCs (at right)
1/8" thick masonite. You can pound, drill, sand, distress to your heart's content (hinge them together?).

Glassine Envelopes - Horizontal Flaps
Two sizes of translucent glassine envelopes: a tiny little size (2-7/8 x 1-3/4"; shown on the back of a collaged Slide Mailer by Design Team Member Teri Calia) and a larger size, large enough for a 4 x 6" postcard (6-1/4 x 4-1/8"). Both have horizontal flaps like traditional mailing envelopes.

Bee's Knees Scrapbook Paper
Double-sided 12x12" cardstock sheet with a retro print of cherries (or are those apples?) against lime green polka dots (with kind of an awning stripe pattern on the back).

Book Covers Ruban
Beautiful, heavy chipboard covers with printing and embossing (that look like a vintage leather book). 5-1/2" x 7".

Antiquarian Journal Pages
Beautifully designed, with faux-vintage printed distressing and fading. Nice detailing like rounded edges (and double-sided).

Royal advice dispensed with scintillating wit and historical wisdom. To consult their majesties, simply choose a card and your special message will be revealed. Forty oversized cards are packaged in deluxe hinged box (box is approx. 6" x 5-1/2").

Fortune Rubber Stamp
Based on Renaissance sources. Fortune has wealth and power in one hand, and weights and snakes in the other (in some sources, a bridle and snakes). She is not only standing on a sphere, but it is riding on ocean waves. Very unstable. Similar to Medieval representations of Fortune, which emphasized her duality and instability, such as two faces side by side like Janus; one face smiling the other frowning; half the face white the other black. (Not exactly our contemporary view of "lady luck.") That said, this is a beautiful illustration.
