Guest Designer Teri Steele – Fourth of July Theatre

Filed under Giveaways, Guest Designers, Paper Theatres Kit

An added surprise! There is another theatre by Teri Steele that will make you want to plan a 4th of July picnic with fireworks and hot-air balloons! I love how she Teri used the Tim Holtz Paper Rosette Die and Stickles to make her festive rosettes that look like they’re going to spin off the theatre at any time with sparks flying.

I bet you’re looking at those amazing balloons (psst… see lower left corner of the photo) from the Paper Theatre Francais Collage Sheet (that is included in the June 2014 Kit – Paper Theatres) and wondering how Teri was able to make them “float.” Guess what? I will let Teri tell you how she did that!

For the balloons I used a heavier gauge jewelry wire to hold them up. I drilled 4 holes in the top of the theater, then bend the wires through the holes and glue them onto the underside through the inside ceiling. Once you paper the ceiling you will never see the wires. The balloon wire is sandwiched in-between the balloon and backed with a piece of the Seashore 6×6 Paper Pad.

Hey, Teri has been very generous (again): leave a comment to enter our Giveaway that includes Teri’s Fireworks for the Fourth of July Theatre!
