Junior Vampires by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel!

Ha! These are so clever and simple to make, too! The text is hidden on both coffins (like the one on the left side) when the “junior vampires” are tucked in, but the text shows when you pull the paper dolls out (partially like shown on the right side, or all the way out).

Here’s some text from Kristin’s blog post:

Here’s a quick little project I did for fun this week: a couple of junior vampires, resting in their coffins. Each of the boys is snugly tucked in.

When you pull them out, you get a little of an idea of what you’re working with here. Eek! “Ghostly”!

I’m not sure what I’m going to do with these; maybe I’ll send them off in the mail as a Halloween greeting.

Cute project, Kristin! The striped print from the Twilight 8×8 Paper Pad is perfect as the top of the “blankets” and adding bat wings to the boys make for a quick Halloween transformation.

Go visit Kristin’s blog post for another photo that will reveal how that text is hidden! And here’s Kristin’s supply list.

New & Back in Stock Goodies

I love the moody prints on the first row of new rice paper (and each coordinates with a 12×12 paper pad, too… links on each page)! See everything new or back in stock today! (12 items so only half shown below!)

Tombstone Ticket Book by Design Team Coordinator Miz Bella (Kimberly Ayers)!

Another super simple Halloween project! Here’s some text from Bella’s blog post as intro:

This month Twilight Kit is so cute, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I thought that the new Mini Halloween Banners Collage Sheet was just screaming my name to chop it up and have fun with it.

The first project I made is this little Tombstone Ticket Book to add to my growing Halloween hoard of decor. The Etched Wood Gravestones come naked so I painted them with white gesso, then while they were still wet I added a little bit of black gesso and just haphazardly mixed it around. Did the same to the Day of the Dead Wooden Skull.

Between the 2 gravestones is the little Matchbox Ticket Journal that has the tiny images from the Mini Halloween Banners Collage Sheet on both sides.

This side has my favorite Halloween jingle that I typed out (on a 1960s Smith Corona typewriter!) Edged the bottom with the Thin Looped Dresden Border, and edged the top of the flip side with the Thin Fleur Dresden Border. That’s about it, a quick little book to make and amuse yourself with (AND to add to your Halloween hoard!)

Nice work, Bella! I especially like how Bella managed to get 3 of the bronze charms (also in the kit) added to such a tiny space. Go visit Bella’s blog post for more photos and here’s Bella’s supply list to help track down all those little details!

Reminder: everything shown above is on sale using the coupon! Plus grab some of the clearance items ASAP (with an additional 15% off from the coupon) as they will not be around for long!
