New Design Team Member: Laura Carson

Alpha Stamps is very excited to announce our newest Design Team Member, Laura Carson! Laura was recently a Guest Designer for Alpha Stamps and we were so blown away by her work we had to look down and make sure our clothes were still on!

Laura’s work is absolutely stunning, and so finely detailed it’s exquisite! If you haven’t seen Laura’s blog, Artfully Musing you HAVE to take the time to go and visit. Make sure that you have a comfy seat, a snack and either coffee or tea. You’ll be there for a while and you won’t want to get up to leave! Laura’s blog is full of giveaways, tutorials, templates, and of course, amazing eye candy.

If the above wasn’t enough, Artfully Musing is full of inspiration, containing pictures not only of her artwork, but shared artwork from various art groups that she participates in as well. Also shared are assorted techniques and she is very helpful by listing products that she’s used in her creations. Did I mention FREE templates and FREE tutorials?!

“I am a graduate of the University of Texas and spent most of my career designing, building, and marketing computer software. After retiring, I needed a creative outlet. A few years ago I discovered mixed media collage and it’s been a love affair ever since. I’ve taught classes in altered books, handmade books, collage art and mixed media art. I enjoy trading in various on-line groups. I specialize in very intricate multi-layered and textured art; which I’ve christened as “organized clutter”. To further continue my artistic journey I launched “Artfully Musing”, a blog where I share my art and the products and techniques used.
