Birds in Hats Kit Giveaway!

Wow! It’s a red-letter day for winning some beautiful artwork (or supplies to make some art)!

In honor of the Meet the Alpha Stamps Design Team Blog Hop AND the current Birds in Hats Swap, I’ve put together a new Birds in Hats Kit and you could win one of the kits right here via this blog post!

And if you are feeling flush (but not necessarily lucky enough to trust winning the drawing), remember that there’s a HUGE Bird Swap Supplies Sale going on now, and all the bird-themed items from this new kit are on sale!

So here’s what’s in the kit:

To enter the Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post and tell me how you’d use the goodies (don’t forget to leave your email address, too, so I can contact the winner; note, your email address does not need to be made public). (I’m even including free shipping… though only in the U.S.A.)

After 12:01 a.m. on Sunday morning, June 10, 2012, I’ll randomly pick the winner (you have until Saturday night at midnight, June 9, 2012 to enter). I’ll announce the winner in Sunday’s newsletter.

And don’t forget: the Meet the Alpha Stamps Design Team Blog Hop is Thursday, June 7th through Sunday, June 10th!

  14. Hi Leslie! First let me say Rhea’s houses are SO fabulous! As to what I would do with the kit? Hmmm… it’s a toss-up between making it into a book with a wired (cold join) binding or create a giant pice of artwork for my wall in my sunroom. I have always collected bird figures and nests and that room is all decked out with them. I even change the display seasonally to reflect Halloween & Christmas/Winter.

  15. Mary Schoknecht says:

I would make a little birdhouse book…each page covered with paper and embellished with birds wearing hats cut from the larger contact sheet or the frippery die cuts. Of course, I’d have to punch holes in the chipboard and supply some of my own rings.
On the rings I would tie short pieces of the ribbon or I’d use the music note ribbon as an embellishment on one or two of the pages. I would use some of the beads as bling on the hats or take some
mini pins and make fancy hat pins to put on the hats as embellishments.

  16. Diane Douglas says:

Absolutely love birdhouses. I have them all over my yard. I would love to create these little beauties and display them in my sunroom. What a perfect compliment they would be to my room.
