“What Kind of Flower Are You?” Tutorial

Filed under Alice in Wonderland, Art Projects, Bella's Corner, Design Team, Tutorials

After making herself crazy for a while, contemplating how she’d create something to go with the theme of “What Kind of Flower Are You?” (a scene from Alice in Wonderland not often depicted), Design Team Member Caroline Ouzts-Hay has created a tutorial on how she accomplished this!

Inspired by Wendy Anderson’s Using Paperclay or ICE Resin with Molds and Laura Carson’s Mermaid Sand Castle Book Tutorials, Caroline created her flower of choice that has a face on it! (Made by casting the Green Man Brass Stamping as a flexible mold for use with Paperclay.)

Here are some of the other elements that Caroline used:

Silicone Molding Putty
Creative Paperclay
New Colors! Stickles Glitter Glue
New Colors! Stitched Leaf Ribbon
Pink Roses Collage Sheet
Snapdragons and Pansies Dresden Scraps
Alice Tea Party Rubber Stamp Set
Liquid Pearls – Key Lime
Mini Velvet Leaves
Blue/Ivory Die-Cut Flower Stickers
Lucite Flowers
Sticky Thumb Dimensional Foam
