So many beautiful things arrived this week! And happy Autumn to those North of the equator! I do love Fall… and the promise of cooler days.

And speaking of spicy, Fall colors, just look at the glorious accordion book that Design Team Member Rhea Freitag created with the new Bird Song Papers! Beside the richly-hued papers themselves, I’ve tracked down coordinating charms, beads and paper trims, and created a custom seam binding set. More details and photos are below.

An aside on the book/box set used by Rhea for her lovely project: the manufacturer didn’t quite anticipate demand so a second shipment is on its way from China. As soon as it hits the border, I’ll let you know.

But before I share all the details about the Bird Song Collection (or remind you about Week 2 of Laura Carson’s Pretty Potions and Poisons Apothecary Event or about Thursday’s tutorial by Caroline Ouzts-Hay!) I’ve got to show off the new Vintaj Metallic Metal Patina Sets:

There are two sets of metallic, opaque, permanent patinas. They are blendable (with the other metallic or non-metallic Metal Patinas sets).

Beside giving a vintage patina to metal findings, these patinas are useful for changing the color of metals (from silver to bronze, for example).

The two color combos are Ancient Coin (aged bronze and antique copper) or Treasured Heirloom (victorian gold and nouveau silver).

That’s just the intro to this week’s fun… Read the rest in the newsletter
