What? There’s no tradition for decorating a Halloween tree? Well, there should be! Teri Calia has made an adorable one (that would lend itself to becoming an earring tree with a bit less drapey yarn “moss”) built on a base that’s adorable, too.

Starting with that base: it’s a Mini Chest of Drawers with 9 tiny little 1-1/2″ drawers. This is a kit to put together the Masonite chest (more like a bookshelf) and all 9 chipboard boxes. And Teri even lined each little drawer with purple velvet… ready to become a tiny jewelry box.

Next, the tree itself. Teri created the tree out of Black Millinery Wire then wrapped it in Fuzzy Black Fibers. Ah, millinery wire. We have a long history. Needless to say it is very useful stuff (and definitely not just for making hats). More details and photos are below.

Before I dive into all the new Halloween goodies (and even more art by Teri)… or remind you about Week 3 of Laura Carson’s Pretty Potions and Poisons Apothecary Event, don’t forget that today is the final day to sign up for the Cabinet Card Curiosities Swap! And everything in the Cabinet Card Curiosities Swap Supplies Section is

That’s just the intro to this week’s fun… Read the rest in the newsletter
