Pierrot Library Pocket Tag Book + Giveaway!

Filed under Art Projects, Bella's Corner, Book Challenge, Design Team, Giveaways, Newsletters, Pierrot/Harlequin/Carnival, Sale

Next up on our “Mad for Books in May” is one made by Design Team Member Rhonda Secrist Thomas. Rhonda has created an amazing tag book featuring Alpha Stamps most favorite character — Pierrot!

Aside from the use of luscious fibers and gorgeous colors from the New! Distress Paints, the most exciting thing in Rhonda’s book are the images that were used. Oh, you don’t think so? They look like images you’ve already seen on our rubber stamps perhaps? Well. Guess what?! Some of images that Rhonda used are from the New! Pierrot Paper Dolls Set Download!

You read that right!! Alpha Stamps is now offering digital stamps for download! What’s a digital stamp? It’s like a rubber stamp (a black or monotone image that can be stamped in any color — or left black — and as many times as you’d like) but, because it’s a silhouetted .png format file, it can also be resized, rotated or flipped as needed.

Just imagine the possibilities. You could use the same image on everything from inchies, ATCs, ginormous tags, to shrines to theatres to dioramas to teeny tiny little creations!

    Rhonda says:

“I love being able to take images, resize, and print on my own printed papers. It’s like a new form of creating art!”

And… Rhonda cut down 12″ x 12″ scrapbook paper to fit in her inkjet printer! So she could print the Pierrot images on the sheets from the New! French Industrial 12×12 Paper Stash!

Other New! digital stamps just added are the Kings & Queens Set Download and the Fairy Tale Paper Dolls Set Download. These used to be rubber stamp sets (that have sold out) but now you can get them as digital downloads!

And see that lovely array of the backs of the tags? They use various Distress Paints and Distress Stains (and the New! Tiny Things Cling-Mounted Stamp Set) but what they all have in common is the background papers are all the from the Black and Kraft Prints 6×6 Paper Pad (adhered to the manila tags to give them more weight… and more textures to play with). Psst… scroll down to see a related Giveaway that Leslie has put together, which includes that paper pad!

Plus the related Kraft 12″ x 12″ Scrapbook Papers are all New and On Sale!

If you really want to spank your eyeballs, here is a full list of what Rhonda used in her book (a pretty large list… did you see all those fibers and tiny charms hanging off the tags?).

A slew of pictures from Rhonda’s book are in the Gallery (including larger photos of the pics on this page).

And head over to Rhonda’s blog to see how she made the book cover and tag pockets!

Are you ready? For the Tag Book Giveaway!? In addition to one of the Black and Kraft Prints 6×6 Paper Pads (that Rhonda used all over the place in her tag book), because it’s almost Memorial Day Weekend (eek! that means it’s almost SUMMER), I just put the ENTIRE Beach Theme Section On Sale!

So I’ve grabbed a few On Sale! items that I think would make an interesting tag book (or aqua colors that work well with the sandy tan/kraft colors in that paper pad):
    - Beach Beauties Postcards Scrapbook Paper
    - Seashell Sequin Mix
    - Beach Cabana Collage Sheet
    - Whimsical Frames Collage Sheet
    - Bathing Beauties #2 (Tracy Roos) Collage Sheet
    - Hurricane Glass Clam Shell Beads
    - Blue Dresden Shell Border Strips
    - On the Boardwalk Seam Binding Set
    - Sky Blue Floral Bead Mix
    - Black and Kraft Prints 6×6 Paper Pad

And, I’ve thrown in 10 Manila Library Pockets and 10 Oversized Manila Tags (the ones that Rhonda used — but she gave them a little haircut so they wouldn’t extend as far out of the pockets) and a set of the New Large Manila Tags (that are just about ATC width), in case you want smaller tags or to mix up the sizes!

To enter the Tag Book Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post by midnight, May 24, 2013 (Friday night PST). (Don’t forget to leave your email address, too, so I can contact the winner; note, your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.)
