Here I go once again trying to find amazing words to describe Laura Carson’s newest creation. Seriously though — you have heard the words all before so how many different ways can I say that a creation by Laura Carson is beautiful, stunning, amazing, gorgeous, ingenious, and of course, jaw-dropping without making you roll your eyes?
So let’s just get to it shall we? Hmmmm? Check out this incredible Parfumerie Diorama! Hey, there’s a word I don’t think I’ve used before! Anyways — take a good look at it after you have caught your breath!
Being a perfumista myself I am in over-the-top in love with the Parfumerie Diorama. I can just imagine my perfumed creations inside some of these little bottles from times past; being displayed under a crystal chandelier, twinkling, catching the light with people asking to sample them from their glass cases while dressed in their best clothes, then demanding to buy the exquisite perfume blends created by the mysterious Bella … oh but I digress!
Once again Laura has not only created a tutorial for you to follow along so that you can make your very own Parfumerie Diorama, but she has also created New! Parfumerie Collage Sheets and New! Antique Frames Download Set for this project! Seriously. WHEN does this woman ever sleep?
I love the little windows that Laura created that you can peer into each with bottles displayed in. I refuse to give away any secrets on exactly how she made the windows, with awnings over each one. (Insert my blank stare here.) However! I will tell you that Laura used the Chipboard Embellishments – Fancy Foliage as architectural enhancements for the side panel!
As always, Laura’s attention to detail is superb, right down to the New! Paper Mache Mini Flower pot full of cute little flowers and how the Parfumerie Diorama lights up with LED Tea Lights. Details, oh-so many more details to be found in the tutorial! Can you imagine using this gorgeous diorama as part of your holiday decorations? I could!
