See a demonstration by Tim Holtz (using the Rosette Die with the Vagabond) in this video.

There’s also a New and On Sale! Mini Paper Rosettes Die that makes 2 smaller sized rosettes!

Here we have just for you, a super quick, handy-dandy tutorial on making a rosette with a die-cutting machine by the fantabulous Miz Teri Calia!

Seriously it’s so easy the New and On Sale! Tim Holtz Vagabond Die-Cutting Machine does all the work for you. OK, so almost — at least the New and On Sale! Tim Holtz Paper Rosettes Die does the most tedious part of it!

Step one — use your die to cut out one set for the rosette.

Step two — fold paper strip on perforations in an accordion fashion. Ink the edges that will show, if desired.

Step three — glue the edges of the folded strip together to form a circle.

Step four — push down on your circle with the rounded edges pointing downward and glue the “star” to the center of your flattened rosette.

Step five — decorate and use in your project.
