Thanksgiving Centerpieces

You’re in for a treat! Unbeknownst to each other, Nichola Battilana and Laura Carson have both created 2 lovely centerpieces to adorn your Thanksgiving table with!

As you can see, Nichola’s centerpiece is in rich tones of greens, red and brown while Laura’s is more along the lines of a traditional Autumn color theme. I love the tiny Mushrooms that Nichola also added into her Thanksgiving mix, the Sheet Moss and the Red Glittered Holly Berries. I bet you could even leave a centerpiece like this one on the table for a week or so after Thanksgiving (if not longer) and it still would look right in season!

Psst: And Nichola has also posted a tutorial to walk you through making your own centerpiece!

Just when you think it’s safe to take a break from your craft table – Laura Carson has whipped up a fabulous Fall Treasure Box complete with a tutorial! You could use Laura’s Treasure Box as a whimsical centerpiece for your Thanksgiving table and then afterwards store small mementos from your holiday in it as well. Perhaps you could even put some candy in the box to offer to sweet, well-behaved children before they head home with their unknowing parents!

Don’t you love the way everything just comes together on it and the lovely fall colors? The treasure box starts out with a small box from the Layer Cake Paper Mache Box Set, the Oak Leaf Die-Cut Chipboard and the Autumn Song 6×6 Paper Pad.

The construction of the leaves that sit atop the treasure box may look difficult; however it is REALLY easy to create! Don’t believe me? Head on over to Laura’s tutorial to see for yourself!
