About Us

Leslie Elledge

I’m the owner of Alpha Stamps. More info on how Alpha Stamps began is here. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have a background in theatrical costume design but switched to graphic design about 20 years ago (as the itinerant lifestyle didn’t suit me). I also own Capacis Information Design. Alpha Stamps is a fun diversion from corporate graphic design.

This is my “everything” blog… a place to post some of the astoundingly weird things I come across on the Web, a place to list updates to the Alpha Stamps site, a place to post new artwork (my own or work from my talented friends and internet penpals), and to note anything design-related that strikes my fancy.

If you sign up for the newsletter (see box at right), you’ll receive an email when new products are added to the site (or special sale pricing is announced). (You’ll not receive an email every time the blog is updated.)

Kim Ayers (aka Miz Bella)

I am the Design Team Coordinator for Alpha Stamps and I love working with the very fabulous Leslie Elledge and our talented Design Team. You’ll find me to be a charming, disarming, wicked, witty, eccentric, eclectic, electric, neurotic, brainy and bold, Southern Gothic goddess who is domestically impaired!

My creative outlet used to be working within the professional beauty industry with a very eccentric and artistic clientele in the Bay Area. Now that I am a mom, living outside Atlanta with three children who love to push me to the verge of madness on a daily basis I find that the only way to keep my sanity is to create art.

In addition to being a mixed-media, altered-art & doll artist I am also a mad alchemist. Aromatherapy blends, natural perfumes, body butters and other products are usually what you’ll find me creating when I’m not creating artwork ;)
