Oooo! All I can say about the colors in this kit is: Pretty!
I've picked out some luscious ribbons (silks, velvets and French imports) and a beautiful selection of beads (including Czech glass beads with an AB* finish), hinged off the colors in the Naughty Valentines Collage Sheet.
*Aurora Borealis (AB) coating is a half-coat metallic finish that adds a prismatic effect to the surface of the bead.
And whether you're joining the swap or even using these ribbons or beads with the collage sheet, I'm sure you'll want them for other Valentine / French / Romantic (yes, that's with a capital "R") projects, so I'm offering them separately (still as pre-kitted sets, but without the other components in this kit; links to the ribbon set and bead mix are at the bottom of this page).
Here's what you'll receive in the kit:
- One archival, 8.5 x 11" collage sheet printed on 60# cardstock. The sheet has a mix of images sized to fit the large-sized Jeweler's Tins (but you can use them for other projects, too: approx. 2" in diameter).
- Three Large Jeweler's Tins.
 Seven different yummy ribbons. Here's another photo of the ribbons, or click on the larger photo at the top of this page. Some ribbons from this set are sold in the supplies section (see links below).- A Small Jeweler's Tin filled with beautiful, coordinating beads (rounds, hearts and flowers). (See below for 2 photos; click on both/either for more details).
- Four antique silver-plated Lightweight Cherub Charms. Double-sided. They're plated plastic and are a good weight for collage or art quilts.
Note: If purchased separately, all these goodies would be $28.00; and even if you buy them on sale during the Valentine's Day Sale, the kit version will save you about $5.00 (plus a fair amount of time).
