This month’s kit is Victorian Christmas Tags! And in addition to the beautiful papers and trims (and artwork to inspire you), there is also a new Christmas Tags Swap!
And, as the Design Team often receives a wider group of products to play with around the monthly themes, I've gathered together everything they received (beyond what's in this regular November kit) and I've put together an Advent Calendar Add-On Kit. (Wait... how is this tags kit related to an advent calendar? Hold on and I'll explain.)
This kit started with an idea for creating 25 tags in pockets that could be clipped up on a ribbon as an impromptu Advent calendar banner (or "housed" in a desktop box to contain them a bit more... and the same box could be used for displaying Christmas cards, too).
And as you can see in Design Team Member Kristin Batsel's festive artwork below, my idea for tags in pockets (in a box) has materialized! (I had dividers with tabs made to work in the same box rotated 90 degrees, but I love the wide display that Kristin made, too.) Note: the box and the dividers are not included in this kit, but are sized to work with the tags and library card pockets that are in the kit.
Back to what is in this kit, let's start with A Victorian Christmas 3x4 ATC Pad. The perfect size for framing an image on a tag, from the beautiful new A Victorian Christmas line (1 each of all 15 designs from this ATC pad are in the kit).
Next up: FIVE collage sheets! Tons of cute images of Santa and children from Victorian sources (I picked out images that would fit well on the tags and coordinate with the colors in the ATC pad). See the "We Also Recommend" section below for photos/links to all of the items in the kit (including the 5 collage sheets).
(And remember: all the collage sheets are on sale for 15% off (and the digital image downloads are on sale for 40% off!), so those new collage sheets are on sale, too!)
Then a set of 5 ribbons (a yard each of 5 — a subset of the 12 ribbons in the Advent Calendar Tags Ribbon Set.
Finally, 5 tags and 5 manila pockets (enough to participate in the Christmas Tags Swap).
AND: all the items in the kit are On Sale, too!
See the newsletter announcing this kit for more artwork and (tons of) new related supplies!
(And remember, there is also a related Advent Calendar Add-On Kit available on another page.)
Kits are announced the first weekend of each month. However, if you sign up for a subscription, your kit will probably have already been mailed to you.
A note on timing for subscribers: the kits don't ship till your automatic payment is made; the recurring payment date is based on the date you signed up for the subscription. If you'd like to make a 1-time "catch up" payment so that you'll be first in line to receive all future kits, contact Customer Service.
If you buy a subscription after the 15th of the month, your first kit will be for the following month (so if you subscribe on October 16th, the November kit will be your first kit).
Kits from previous months will be available for purchasing until sold out.
And remember, here's a link to everything in this month's kit that is also available to buy separately. More coordinating goodies are listed on the blog post announcing this kit.
