This is a laser-cut, heavy chipboard kit to put together a beautiful 1:24 scale, 2-story room box (more like a dollhouse). This is a miniature version of the 2-Story Room Box French Quarter (a bit simplified for the smaller scale, but still includes 3 split windows that can be hinged to open, and a door with decorative transom windows above it).
Finished size is approx. 5-7/8" wide x 9-1/2" tall x 4-3/4" deep.
Shown standing next to the 2-Story Room Box French Quarter in one of the photos (for size comparison).
Note: the window frames from Laura Carson's Architectural Trims Set Download can be used at 50% size to fit these windows, too. More info about Laura's project using the trims set with the larger room box are in the July 9th blog post.
Ships flat but a breeze to put together with the slots and tabs precut (you'll just need to secure with a bit of white glue).
Note: Items cut from this heavy, light-grey chipboard burn easily so the laser-cutting process may leave charcoal residue behind. Save yourself a headache, and just wipe the cut edges of these items down with a dry paper towel before assembling or painting.
