Sacred Heart Shrines + New Halloween Kit

Sacred Heart Shrine Kits

Fancy Flaming Heart Milagro Shrine
Made from sturdy masonite. Arrives flat and is easy to assemble with just a bit of glue.

Completed shrine measures approx. 5-1/8" tall x 4" wide. The opening measures exactly 1" x 1" so perfect for inchies! the opening is 1/4" deep. Also as a bonus it has a hole on the back so you can hang it on the wall from a small nail.

And look at the beautiful shrine Design Team Coordinator Miz Bella (Kim Ayers) created using this kit!

Classic Flaming Heart Milagro Shrine
A similar masonite shrine kit, but without the sun ray/points. Completed shrine measures approx. 4-5/8" tall x 2-3/4" wide. A close-up of a shrine using this kit is at left, by Design Team Member Lynn Stevens.

Metal Nailhead Stickers
Design Team Member Kristin Batsel used the Fancy Flaming Heart Milagro Shrine with these stickers (kind of like a brad, but without the prongs that usually poke through paper... and with adhesive on the backs).

Elegant Winged Heart Milagro Shrine
Another in this series of larger shrine kits... this one with wings.

Flaming Heart Trinket (Tiny)
These are great for pendants, charms, or earrings. Completed charms measure approx. 1-1/8" tall x 3/4" wide. The inside hole measures approx. 3/8" tall x 1/4" wide and 1/8" deep.

Flaming Heart Sacred Trinket Shrine
The last in the masonite Sacred Heart Shrine-themed kits for today, but this one in a pendant size. Beautiful 'our nest' pendant at right is by Design Team Member Teri Calia.

The middle piece of this kit has two notches to hook the connectors from ball chain into (to turn the trinket into a pendant). Note: the connector needs to be from size 3 chain (like the connectors in the "Ball Chain Kits," see below; the mini connectors are too small and will just slip out).

Ball Chain Kits - in 3 Colors
96" of chain with 10 connectors. The connectors are a good size for the channels in the masonite Trinket kits. The connectors will also fit the tiny or mixed ball chains.

Window Necklace Trinket
Made from sturdy 1/8" masonite and easy to assemble with just a bit of glue. These are great for pendants, charms, or earrings. 2" tall x 1-1/4" wide x 3/8" thick.

This is another pendant kit with notches for ball chain connectors.

Tiny Cigar Box
The outside of the box measures approximately 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 x 3/4" tall and the inside measures 2-1/4 x 3-1/4 x 5/8" deep. The lid of the box sits on top, lifts off, and is held in place by the side pieces, which extend upward slightly. You could also attach the lid with hinges if desired (paper hinges or tiny metal ones).

Storefront Shrine Kit
Completed masonite shrine measures approx. 4" tall.

Note: the bottom of the front frame extends below the bottom of the "box" so the shrine sits at a jaunty angle.

Also note: you can use the shrine upside-down (with the tall part above the window at the bottom) as a mini Punch & Judy theatre (but, you'll need to either wall-mount your piece or sit it on a small spool or other object, so it doesn't tip over).

House Stand-ups
Masonite, 1-7/8" tall (not including the base which makes them 2" tall) x 1-1/8" wide. Perfect for displaying your inchies. Easy to assemble, just pop out and place the bottom into the stand.

New Halloween Kit

Halloween Witch Shrine Kit
Ooo! Another great kit. Put them together to make a little Halloween Witch Shrine, like Teri's sample art right (with lots of components to spare), or use them on other Halloween-y projects.

Includes a masonite shrine kit, collage sheets, ribbons, dresden, a glass vial of glitter... everything you'd need to make a little Halloween shrine.

Halloween Mini-Dash Shrine Kit
The same shrine that's included in the Halloween Witch Shrine Kit. Easy to assemble laser-cut masonite. The backs and sides are a spider web and the kit also comes with a masonite bat and spider to put anywhere you like. Finished shrine measures 2-1/4" wide, 3-1/2" tall (not including the top decoration) and 5/8" deep.

Halloween Glitter In Bottle
My own color mix, packaged in a small glass bottle with a cork.

Pretty enough to leave in the bottles and use in a tiny shrine (Teri used some and still had plenty left to leave in the bottle for the shrine).

Spider Web ATC Overlays
Set of 4 spider webs! Each measures 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" and you can use them vertically or horizontally. 1/16" thick black mat board.

Bat Cut-Outs
Package of 15 bats. The smallest measures approximately 1-1/4" across and the largest approximately 1-7/8" across.

Dead Tree Cut-outs
3-3/4" to 4-1/4" tall. 1/16" thick black mat board. Set of 4.

Gravestone Stencil Border
Lightweight stencil board (stencils are made thin enough to wrap around curves/corners when stenciling). Use a stencil brush so that your brushstrokes won't push paint under the edges of the cut-out design (or spray with a mister or spray paint to apply your color).

The row at the bottom of the photo are "left overs" after I popped them out of the laser-cut stencil. Treat them as bonus chipboard art fodder.

If you're planning to use the stencil a lot, I would use spray shellac to seal the stencil before you get paint on it (an oil-based varnish, rather than a water-based acrylic spray will last longer). Spray a few layers and let dry. Flip it over and do again.

Entire sheet is approx. 4" x 5"

Witches, Black Cats and Hats Cut-outs
3 witches 2-1/2" x 2", 3 cats approx. 1" and 6 hats ranging from 5/8" - 7/8" tall. 1/16" black mat board.

Witch Hat Cut-Outs
30 hats in 2 styles. They range from 1/2" - 2" tall.

Gravestone ATC Border Overlays
2 each of 2 sizes: 2" x 3.5" and 2" x 2.5" so you can make vertical and horizontal ATCs. 1/16" black mat board.

Gravestone Chipboard Stand-ups
Easy to assemble, just pop out and place the bottom of the gravestone into the stand.

Black Gesso
Claudine Hellmuth Studio Black Gesso is ideal for priming all your surfaces, including canvas, boxes, journal pages and chipboard. Gesso adds subtle texture (called "tooth") when applied, allowing a surface to accept paint and other mediums more easily. 3 Tiny Halloween Clear Stamp Sets

Mighty Punch Kit
Durable and easy to use (really! even with my gimpy carpel-tunnel wrists); no electricity required. Ideal for cold connections and creating jewelry components. It will Punch through metals up to 16 gauge in thickness.

Hardened dies and punches create 7 different hole sizes: 2.38, 3.18, 3.97 4.76, 5.56, 6.35, 7.14 millimeter (3/32, 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/4, 9/32 inch). Dies, punches, and storage slots are all marked with size for accuracy. Adjustable throat with depth gauge adjusts to depths from 1/4" to 1-1/2" from the edge. Each set is 7-1/2" x 12-1/2". The tags are die-cut in lots of small sizes (on chipboard). The little hole in each tag is also die-cut (for hanging on a string or other closure). Printed in the USA (that's a rarity with large scrapbook paper companies).
