Spiders & Goblin Tins (+ New Giveaway & FREE Spider Kit!)

Filed under Art Projects, Giveaways, Goblins Kit, Halloween, Jeanne Draachreider, Newsletters, Tutorials

Hey all. This will be a short but sweet (or spooky?) intro as I’m feeling a bit under the weather. (And we’re actually having some weather — not a big rain storm, but we’ll take what we can get in this drought.)

It’s getting close to Halloween… but I hear you re: wanting Halloween to continue all year. I did find one late-to-the-party line of Halloween papers: Haunted Hollow. Cute and colorful! See below for photos.

And there is New Glitter! Really lovely — big chunks of vintage-looking glass glitter. And in beautiful colors.

Plus 2 projects by the Design Team using the October Goblins Kit! I’m handing this off to Miz Bella (Kim Ayers) to introduce Jeanne Draachreider’s clever Goblin Tins.

Oh, I almost forgot: Spiders! Today’s new Spider ATCs FREE Gift Kit has a spider theme — and there’s a related New and On Sale! Miss Muffet and the Spider Collage Sheet! Plus check below for today’s Giveaway for a few more spiders mixed in with the goblins from Jeanne’s project.

Sale! Special Pricing! Six-pack of Goblins in a Tin. Hurry before they’re all gone!

Who knew that goblins came in a handy, dandy, six-pack? Can they make teenagers behave? If so I’ll take two sets! Design Team Member Jeanne Draachreider created the adorable stacking set of goblins that are each housed in their own tin.

Jeanne fussy-cut goblin images from the October 2014 – Goblins Kit and placed them each in a Large Square Tin. That Jeanne is so thoughtful. If you don’t want to leave the goblins laying out and about with a chance the little menaces can get free from their enclosures, she also created a place to house them in as well, with a Square Tea Tin. Mind you, the Square Tea Tin also has feet she created on the bottom of it.. The feet are set up with a 1/4 Inch Wooden Dowel that has been cut to size, so just know that it can take off on its own at any time!

To color the individual tins Jeanne used Gilders Paste. To make the Square Tea Tin look like it had been hanging around the forest for ages, she used Deco Art Perfect Crackle. After it was dry she used the Vintage Photo Distress Ink & Stain Set to get into all those cool cracks and crannies.

So cute these little naughties are, I’m sure you’re going to want your own. So guess what? Jeanne created a tutorial so you can make your very own set of Goblins in a Tin! Check out her Supply List then head on over to Jeanne’s blog to read all about not only how to make it, but read about the sweet habits of each goblin.

Hooray! A Spiders and Goblins Giveaway!
