    New Tim Holtz CHRISTMAS!

Filed under Art Projects, Gift Certificates, Giveaways, Halloween, Kristin Batsel, Newsletters, Sale, Tim Holtz

Before I show off the cute new artwork by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel (related to one of the new Tim Holtz items being announced today), and of course, all the cute new Christmas things: we’ve added Gift Cards to the site! Perfect for future, last-minute holiday gifting…

All I can say is: I want to see how Kristin’s house is decorated for Halloween!!

What a great trio of Halloween mini costume boxes! (Note: that guy in the middle is only 2″ x 3″.)

    Here’s a bit from Kristin’s blog post:
I’m a big fan of making art in vintage Christmas ornament boxes, so when I saw these new Tim Holtz reproduction Halloween Costume Boxes, it was love at first sight. Halloween is my favorite! These small boxes look great on their own, so it doesn’t take much to create cute little Halloween decor. What fun!

For the smallest box, I covered the back of the box with orange and black scrapbook paper, black alphabet beads (boo!) and a vintage image of a girl with a pumpkin. I used foam adhesive dots to raise her up from the back. Rick rack trim and a little pumpkin was added to the box top.

I love the details on these boxes, and the fact that they look so real, despite their size. What a fun addition to my Halloween decor! These are going to look great on my mantel.

Thank you, Kristin! Note: see below in the Giveaway section for another photo (and of course, a chance to enter the Giveaway). Here’s a link to all the supplies Kristin used.

Hey, we just got the Christmas version of the Tim Holtz box lids back in stock (returning from last Fall)… Both the Halloween and Christmas versions of the box lids fit these 4 mini shadowboxes. Remember the project at left?? Kristin made that version from scrapbook paper and the Tiny Diorama Box, but there’s a very similar “Tinsel Rain” box lid in the Tim Holtz set… Note: click on that pic at left for Kristin’s tutorial.

    New Products!

It’s time! All the new Tim Holtz Christmas items are here and they are sooo cute! Plus a little devil found his way into this group, too!

    Highlights from the Clearance Sale!

I’ve picked out some Clearance Sale Paper Flowers/Botanicals to highlight today — 30% off! (And a bunch of new things have been added to the clearance sale!) Note that these are from the new site: there’s still tons of goodies at great prices on the CLEARANCE SITE (50 to 80% off)! For example, here’s the Paper Flower Section…

Hooray for the Halloween or Christmas Mini Shadowbox Giveaway!

I picked out that top box (at left) for the start of this Giveaway:

Don’t forget to visit Kristin’s blog post for more tips on all the boxes.
