Mad Tea Party Theatre; Paper Theatres on SALE!

Filed under Alice in Wonderland, Art Projects, Back in Stock, Bella Ayers, Giveaways, Retro Valentine Kit, Sale

Oooh! Alice in Wonderland and Paper Theatres!!

Design Team Coordinator Miz Bella (Kimberly Ayers) made a fab paper theatre with a mix of styles and products, all pink and red and gold… mixed up just as The Mad Hatter should be!

Starting with a bit of intro from Bella’s blog post:

I love tea, and it’s always tea time around here — when of course, I am not drinking coffee.

When the February My Retro Valentine Kit arrived, cute as the retro-themed collage sheets were I just couldn’t get past seeing tea themes. (Which of course led straight to Alice because.. tea!)

Since it is a Mad Tea Party theme, in my reality nothing really has to make much sense. (Not that it does most days anyways…) As long as I liked it well then it’s perfect!

I remembered that awhile ago, I had started working on a Punch & Judy Theatre that had an Arch Top Theatre Facade on top of it, so I dug it out. Thankfully the palette I used worked out pretty well with the Retro Valentine Kit.

It all looks great! And that little stack of resin cakes and teacups (above at left): more info about it is down in the Giveaway section!

Read more (and see more photos) in Bella’s blog post! Above are photos/links for a few of the items from Bella’s Mad Tea Party Theatre Supply List… and keep reading as there’s a related Sale!

What is NEW today?

Wow! What a big mix of themes here, too! Beside the Alice 8×8 Paper Pad back in stock (timely), there are lots of Easter/spring items, plus some dollhouse miniatures! See even more than these previews.

NEW Sale: Paper Theatres!

Wow! This is a big group (inspired by Bella’s artwork)!

25% off on EVERYTHING ELSE in this collection (that includes chipboard theatre kits)!

Over 130 items! AND: any rubber stamps or digital images in this collection are marked down to 50% off!

The sale ends FRIDAY NIGHT, March 6th at midnight PST. See the entire sale collection here!

Hooray for the
Mad Tea Party Theatre Giveaway!

First off: your eyes did not deceive you… that Punch & Judy Theatre from Bella’s artwork is the first item shown above in the Paper Theatres Sale preview! Yes, it is also the first item in this Giveaway package!

Back to Bella’s project, here’s a bit more from her post, starting with the table at the tea party:
The “tablecloth” is 3 halves of 2 tiny pink doilies, then one of the White Tiny Lace Borders used as “lace” on top of the doilies.

Yes, those 2 lace/doilies sets are included in this Giveaway, too! Plus the Tin-Sized Alice Collage Sheet that the table, Alice, and other tea party participants are from.

Back to that inset photo above (of the stack of tiny cakes):

The hardest thing about the entire project was stacking the cakes (and teacup) and getting them to teeter the right way. Didn’t use hot glue since I wasn’t sure how each piece would be placed, but used a thick white glue. That way it held just a bit but allowed me to move the cakes around to where I wanted them.

That link in the last paragraph goes to 4 items from Bella’s supply list (one of which is EIGHT cakes): all four of those items are in the Giveaway, too!

To enter the Mad Tea Party Theatre Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, FRIDAY Night, March 6, 2020).
