Some eye candy, too!
And a Giveaway!

This Bird Watcher shrine (ornament? both?) by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel is so sweet!

Kristin actually shows the bird house made 2 ways (you’ll need to read her blog post to see the other version) but this version with a little chap inspired me to make TWO new collage sheets with sepia vintage postcard tykes sized to fit in the birdhouse shrines at about the same size as the boy Kristin used. See below for preview photos (and both are included in today’s Giveaway prize)!

PLUS everything from Kristin’s supply list (for the version of the shrine at right) is also included in today’s Giveaway!

Here’s a preview from Kristin’s post:
This month’s kit inspired me to make a little hanging ornament. It looks like a little birdhouse, so it’s perfect for housing an avid bird watcher. This guy’s really into it; he’s got his shiny new binoculars and has evidently been talking lots of notes on his findings. He’s even found a nest of bright blue robin’s eggs. Luckily, he knows enough to leave it alone; soon he’ll be able to view baby birds.

“The house is covered with beautiful papers from Bird Watcher 8×8 Paper Pad. I covered the inside and outside of the house with a sweet floral print, and then used parts of a couple of the other papers to embellish the outsides. Both the sides of the house feature bird stamps found on paper from the collection.”

You can read more about the project in Kristin’s blog post. (Good tips are there, too; see the wide photo below for a preview on Kristin’s tutorial for papering a 3D shrine.)

To enter the Bird Watcher Giveaway drawing all you have to do is leave a comment BELOW on this blog post TODAY or TOMORROW (the deadline is 11:59 pm PST, FRIDAY Night, May 28, 2021).

And tell me: what will you make with these supplies?

Don’t forget to leave your (hello!) correct email address, too, so I can contact the winner; your email address does not need to be made public. Note: I’m offering free shipping, too, but only within the USA. International shipping will still apply.

Please be patient! Spammers try to post crap here a lot so comments are moderated. So if you don’t see your post in the comments section, be patient and check back in a few hours before re-posting it, please!

Note: if an item is duplicated in the Bird Watcher Kit (included in the Giveaway) and also listed separately in the supply list, I’m just including one of those items.

Now don’t forget the Beach & Mermaid Collage Sheets Sale ends Saturday night!
And FREE shipping on all orders over $75.00 ends Monday night!
