Day 1 Theme & Giveaway: Shrines

Filed under Art Projects, Black Friday Sale 2013, Christmas, Design Team, Giveaways, Sale, Tutorials

Hey, it’s Friday of the 4-day “Black Friday” sale! Today’s theme is Shrines.

Before I hand this post off to Miz Bella (Kim Ayers), here’s a short recap on how these themed sale days work:

I’ve gathered new (and current) items around a theme. And I’ve pulled together a lovely Giveaway Kit made from those goodies (and most all the goodies used in today’s artwork!) that will be awarded to one lucky customer (click on the row of 3 photos, below, to see larger photos of today’s Giveaway Kit).

If you order on Friday you’ll automatically be entered in the drawing for the Friday Giveaway Kit. Click here for more info on all the gifts & freebies going on during the sale!

Free gift for every order over $20! The photo at left is a preview of the mini kit for the “Shrines” theme that will be included as a gift for every order over $20 on Friday, November 29, 2013! No need to add anything to your cart — all orders over $20 (before tax or shipping) placed November 29, 2013 will receive the “Shrines” mini kit.

Today’s Theme: Shrines

The Design Team is out of control with all of the cuteness they’re churning out left and right. We all know that our circus aficionado around here is Kristin Batsel and she has come up with TWO Christmas Circus Putz Shrines!

Do you remember the Putz houses? Those little houses with their sparkling sugared roofs and tiny accessories? Kristin has taken the New and On Sale! Mini Masonite Shrine – Circus (shown at left… and look how tiny it is!), covered it in the On Sale! Mother Goose 6×6 Patterns & Solids Paper Pad, laid On Sale! Incredi-Sheets over the paper and then “sugared” the entire shrine with the On Sale! Micro Beads – Clear! Don’t you love the instant vintage effect the Micro Beads give the shrine?

Small details such as the On Sale! White Plastic Pearls (around the base of the top shrine), Tiny Wrapped Packages and Kristin’s vintage Santas makes either one of these Christmas Circus Putz Shrines a perfect present! (For meeee!)

Head on over to Krisin’s blog for more details how she made her Christmas Circus Putz Shrines and for pointers on how to work with the micro beads.

And here’s a link to all the supplies Kristin used in her artwork — and they’re ALL On Sale!

Plus check below for some more New and On Sale! Shrines (and little trims)! (That’s below the row of clickable previews for today’s Giveaway Kit! And if you’re dying to know which collage sheets are in the middle photo, or the papers with the tiny stars in the photo at right… here’s a list of everything in the Giveaway Kit!)
