Alice's Tea Party Swap

We're hosting an Alice's Tea Party Swap using the Tea Pot Chipboard Album!

Think Alice in Wonderland, rabbits, tea, teacups, cupcakes, assorted sweets, Queens, grinning cats, hats, and things that aren't quite what they appear to be!

This swap will be 3 for 3. (Create 3 book pages (not the covers) and receive 3 in return, all by different artists!) Please do not send in more than TWO sets (aka: maximum of 6 pages).

Blue/Ivory Paper Ribbon Set
(It reminds me of a china pattern.)
Package contains 4 styles of adhesive paper ribbon, 2 yards of each style. Beautiful ornate scroll patterns are centered on the ribbons and some have scalloped edges. In shades of Navy, Ivory and Pale Yellow. Widths vary from 3/4" to 7/8".

The coordinating pad contains 24 assorted tags, 2 each of 12 styles.

Patterns include floral, stripes, damask, geometric and even paisley, all in shades of Denim, Navy, Olive, Ivory and Brown. Tags measure approximately 2 1/2"x 4 1/2" with rounded corners and curving sides.

Bella’s Corner Interview with Guest Designer Sarah Whitmire

Past Design Team Member Sarah Whitmire took time from her beyond-busy schedule to create some fabulous Halloween samples for us! Sarah is a very gifted artist and also the very inspirational creator of “Soul Journaling.” Miz Bella asked her to give us an update of what’s been going on with her since she departed the Alpha Stamps Design Team.

What have you been up to since you left the Design Team?

Since I left the Alpha Stamps Design team I have been working a lot on furthering my painting skills. I’ve been traveling and taking art classes and also getting ready to teach more off-line, in person. I’ll be teaching in Sanford, FL in October and possibly at Art and Soul in Las Vegas next year...

Halloween

3 Apothecary Emporium Papers + Stickers
Three 12" x 12" double-sided scrapbook papers. The "Alchemy Press" sheet shown has faux newspaper articles from the "Alchemy Journal of Medicine" and the reverse side has a damask pattern with small skulls in the center of each motif. Nice.

The coordinating 12" x 12" sticker sheet is shown at far right. Over 70 stickers include: icons, patterns, captions, and borders.

Halloween Adornments
Set of 4 cast metal charms (kinda heavy for charms — and no hanging loop — but I'll go with that term).

The bat is 1-7/8" wide. Flat on the back.

Muse Tokens - Halloween
Like the original muse tokens, these are artist's versions of subway tokens (nicely done, with embossed text and cut out initials). Antique-colored tags in 3 colors (nickel, copper and brass — 4 in each color for a total of 12).

Good text options (like Goblins, Wicked or Haunted). Approx. 7/8" diameter.

Verdigris Skull Charms
Approx. 5/8" tall. The verdigris patina is handcrafted and no two are exactly the same. The pieces have been sealed and buffed with a light wax finish.

Miscellaneous

2 Scalloped-Edged Pendants
Square or rectangular. Hinged, double-paned pendants. 6-7mm thick. Seal photos or images between the two pieces of clear glass to make custom memory jewelry.

Plus, look at the beautiful new art Miz Bella created used the related Hinged House Pendants (far right).

Violet Dahlia Resin Flower Set
6 delicate resin dahlias (2 each of 3 colors). Flat-back so will need to be glued on.

Delicate Crest Filigree
Antique silver or vintage patina. 26mm x 32mm. Dapt back. I love the way it wraps around square objects (see pendant at right).

Muse Tokens - Christmas (far right)
Similar to the Halloween Muse Tokens above. Good text options (like Merriment, Yuletide or Jingle).

3 Colorful Dresden Scrap Sheets:
2 sheets of roses & flowers plus a big, bright sheet of Parrots.

Fancy Glass Leaves AB
11x7mm Czech pressed glass beads with an AB finish (Aurora Borealis (AB) coating is a half-coat metallic finish that adds a prismatic effect to the surface of the bead).

Etruscan 4-Ring Connector
32x32mm. Flat back. A fairly heavy piece (too heavy for earrings).

Chandelier Crystals - New Black & Cobalt Blue Colors
Beautiful imported German crystal "beads" (a bit large for a bead). 37mm x 26mm (almost 1-1/2" tall). 8mm thick.

ATC Clear Sleeves
Crystal clear (lightweight mylar). Open on one end. Sized to fit ATCs (2-1/2" x 3-1/2"). 25 per package.
