Steampunk Style Jewelry
Victorian, Fantasy and Mechanical Necklaces, Bracelets and Earrings
A fun book with lots of projects made from items you may not associate with jewelry. Includes how-to tutorials and projects by 12 artists (including Design Team Member Barbe Saint John). And be sure to read the review by Barbe.

3 ATC Backs and Steampunk Words Collage Sheets
The 3 sheets with ATC backs (including the steampunk design, shown at left… the one with the red curtains) each have 10 backs per sheet (with lines for artist’s name, email, title, swap name and date, so you can easily decorate and sign the backs of your ATCs) and are offered on white stickers (in addition to the regular collage sheet paper options). Not shown: Floral and Victorian designs.

The Steampunk Words sheet has vintage Victorian ads (with lots of beautiful, ornate text) and phrases including “gaslight romance”, “Look at the dirigibles”, “A clockwork heart can’t replace the real thing” and “We all have our time machines, they’re called memories.”

Vintage Watch Parts (6 different vintage items)
These are “real” vintage pocketwatch faces. As you can see (the top photo at right is for the “Large Faces” listing), they are not perfect specimens (some are cracked or dirty or both). But they are perfect for creating artwork, especially with all the ideas in the Steampunk Style Jewelry book.

Copper Clock Charms
Antiqued copper plate over lead-safe pewter. 17 x 12mm.

Antique Brass Corrugated Beads (2 styles) & Bead Caps (3 styles)
All are antiqued lead-free brass. (Smaller than in the photo at right.)

Sparrow’s Compass Brass Link
Beautiful, 23mm diameter link. Good size for bracelets or necklaces.

Star Trellis Filigree
In 2 finished: raw brass or vintage patinaed brass. 45mm wide.

Hammered Ring – 25mm and Bead Pod Toggle Bar
Antique patinaed brass. A good size/shape to use as a toggle (closure). Shown in the photo with the ingenious “bead pod” toggle bar: coordinate the color of your bracelet or necklace by filling the “bead pod” with 8/0 seed beads or try using 3mm Firepolished Czech Beads.

Nouveau Toggle Bar
26 x 8mm with a beautiful, curving pattern. Antique patinaed brass. Another good size/shape to use as a toggle (closure).

Small Hammered Ring
Antique patinaed brass. 16mm diameter. A Spoked Gear, a Square Brass Pendant Blank and Brass Rivets are also shown in the hammered pendant sample at far right.

Floral Ring – 25mm
Antique patinaed brass, etched with a floral pattern. A good size to use as a connector for a pendant/necklace (providing a large “pivot” between chain or ribbons and a pendant).

8mm Bead Caps – New vintage brass color
Besides using them as bead caps, they’re shown below (in the photo for the Brass Rivets) after being hammered flat and riveted into a stacked brass flower “sandwich”).

Computer Junk
(Good junk.) “Coils” are shown in the photo at far left; “Capacitors” at near left. Some of each were used in the ATC at right by Design Team Member Sarah Whitmire.

Small Glass Fuses
These are real fuses, so they do not open. But tiny & cute.

Jeweler’s Tins (and a couple other metal tins) – New Sizes
Lids just sit on; they don’t screw down tightly. Clockwise from the largest one in the photo at left (all have glass lids and are sold singly unless otherwise noted):
– Medium: 1-7/8″ diameter
– Short (“Small Journey Tin”; clear window is plastic + embossed design around the lid + Set of 2): 1-7/16″ diameter
– Magnetic (magnet on the back + plastic divider inside + clear window is plastic, ): 1-1/2″ diameter
– Tiny: 13/16″ diameter
– Small: 1-1/4″ diameter

Mini Compass Mask
Die-cut, clear vinyl mask (die-cut designs to pop out and use as a stencil… or kind of the inverse of a stencil as you’ll be leaving the unpainted design behind when you remove the mask). Masks have repositionable adhesive on the back so you can use them again and again. Simply apply inks, paints, sprays, or a variety of other mediums over the mask. The masks are clear, so you are easily able to see how much ink you are applying to the desired area.

Egyptian Wings
Raw brass. Artwork (at right) by Design Team Member Kristin Batsel (using these wings with Bronze Washers).

Small Connected Wings & Spoked Gear
Both are shown in the artwork snippet at left. The spoked gears are 22mm in diameter and are a beautiful vintage-patinaed brass.

Large Brass Angel Wings – Set
Beautiful, large wing set. Raw brass.

Corrugated Saucer Beads
5 x 3mm, antiqued gold-plated brass. Made with lead-safe brass. Artwork at right by Design Team Member Barbe Saint John (showing the back of a charm, where one of the saucer beads fits inside a finishing washer).

The following 4 items are back in stock:

Metal Number Index Tabs – Black and White Version
Decorative numeral tabs in color or black-and-white. Fold over the edge of a book page and attach using the adhesive strips. The numbers are covered with slightly domed clear acrylic disks (that give them a nice, vintage look).

3-Color Large Jump Rings
Antique-colored jump rings in 3 colors (nickel, copper and brass) and 2 sizes (for a total of 75). Pretty large for jewelry unless you’re making a steampunk creation.

Hitch Fasteners
Antique-colored sets in 3 colors (nickel, copper and brass). 12 sets of 2-part fasteners with screw backs. Good for fastening things to other things: the wide base on both parts act like washers to keep holes from ripping out. Or use them as little hooks/knobs to hang things off of (or wind thread or string around). They require nothing more than a couple of holes. Insert the screw into 1/8″ hole, fasten the hitch, punch a 3/16″ hole in the piece you want to hang, and you’re done.

Brad Washers
3/8″ diameter. Use with Mini Brads. Not only will this look more industrial, but it also provides extra durability. 48 washers (16 of each finish – nickel, brass and copper). The photos at right show before and after hitting with a texture hammer. Click either photo for more info.

Tools

2-Hole Metal Punch
This punch can make holes in metal thicknesses up to approximately 2-3mm, depending on metal type. Screw action makes holes without deforming metal. Can also be used for plastic and other materials. The hole sizes made are approximately 1.5mm (perfect for Brass Rivets) and 2mm in diameter.

Brass Rivets
1/4″ long nailhead rivets with a vintage patina. Simply punch or drill a 1.5mm hole into your pieces, and use a ball peen or chasing hammer to do the rest. They are addictive. Click the link to read a quick how-to.

Rubber Block
This vulcanized block can be used wet or dry without the chance of slipping. It allows the removal of dents and straightening of metals without distorting or scratching the surface. Also, you can set a steel block on this rubber block to absorb shock when texturing or imprinting letters into metal. Measures 4″ x 4″ x 1″. A rubber block was used under the 16mm Filigree Bead Cap and 8mm Etched Bead Cap to keep them from scratching while they were being flattened (for the riveted sample art shown in the small photo at left of the “brass rivets” text, above).

Bench Block
Hardened steel blocks support your work as you flatten, straighten and harden wire. Smooth surface on both sides. Versatile tool: use for metalwork, riveting and clay projects. Set steel block on a rubber block or leather sand bag to absorb shock when texturing or imprinting letters into metal. Measures 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ x 1″

Chasing Hammer
Designed for gold- and silversmiths, flat head is used to flatten and shape metals and for striking other chasing tools. Round end forms decorative patterns. Wood handle with steel head.

Mini Mallet
This compact, no-mar jewelry mallet includes two detachable 17.5mm ends — a rubber hammer face and a yellow PVC hammer face. The non-porous materials will not mar your metals and is easily cleaned. 6-1/4 inches overall, 2-inch long dual head.

Tiny Brass Screw Sets and Tiny Screwdriver/Nutdriver Set
Teeny, tiny screws, nuts & washers. Shown in the photo at right in a nutdriver (I would suggest using a tiny screwdriver in one hand and a nutdriver in the other, as these are much too small to hold onto with fingers).

Texture Hammer
Double-faced hammer with diamond plate and star patterns. The metal heads taper to 1/2″ tall to help with hammering small items (entire hammer is 10-1/2″ long).

Metal Alphabet Stamps
1/8″ letters (plus an ampersan) for stamping words into soft metals. Comes in a labelled wooden storage stand (no lid).

Spring Flowers

Camelot Roses
6 gorgeous, subtly colored mulberry paper flowers (about 1-3/4″ diameter). They were twisted and formed when the paper was wet and look like dried rose petals.

Strawberry Kisses – Flowers with Stamen
Colorful mulberry paper flowers (about 1-3/4″ diameter). Fun prints like polka dots. You can bend the petals to get the right effect. Set of 6.

Fairytale Roses
Beautiful, small (3/4″ diameter) pink mulberry paper roses. The shades vary from light to dark so you can arrange a few together and they’ll have a more realistic look. Very pretty. Set of 12.

5 New Floral Scrapbook Papers
Beautiful, double-sided 12×12″ cardstock sheets with red (and pink) roses and butterflies and birds and calligraphy…

Lucite Curved Leaves & Large Flat Flowers – New Cranberry Color

Scripty Scrapbook Paper
Calligraphy script (with faint background text like seeing through parchment) in brown ink over a cream background.

Stamps

Queen Bee Clear Stamp Set

3 bees, a large crown (3″ wide) and a large frame (with the word “QUEEN” as a separate stamp so you can reuse the frame for other words, too). 6 individual stamps.

Optimist Cling Stamp
ATC-sized stamp from a collage by Tim Holtz. The silhouette of a man with an umbrella, with a ledger paper background, a row of blackbirds on a line and the number 13.

Going Somewhere Cling-Mounted Stamp Set
Also by Tim Holtz (shown above left). Images include a clock without hands, an “admit one” ticket, a ticket stub, 3 quotes (“enjoy the journey”, “encourage your hopes not your fears” and “time is a companion that goes with us on the journey…”), a playing card with the number 13, and multiple images good for background textures (with accounting/ledger writing, typewriter text and a couple train tickets).

Crown Jewels Clear Stamp Set
Keys, crowns, a fleur de lys and ornaments. The largest crown is 1-7/8″ wide.

Twilight Clear Stamp Set
6 individual stamps, including a “ghosts goblins witches zombies” faux postal cancellation; “trick or treat”, “treats” and “All Hallows Eve” text; and a nice round seal with a bear tree and flying bats. Oh… and a heraldic crest with a crow on the number 31!

Miscellaneous

Art Doll Quarterly Magazine – Autumn ’09 (Halloween!) Issue
Yes, yes… I’m a bit late. But it’s a fab issue (and Stampington is sold out).

Small Fleur Connectors – New vintage brass color
(Plated over brass stamping… concave on the back.)

Antique Copper Ear Wires
20 gauge with decorative 3mm ball. Copper wires are re-plated with copper for even greater luster, then antiqued. Sample earrings by Design Team Member Teri Calia (with large copper jump rings and bronze washers)

Decorative Antique Copper Head Pins
14 pieces/package. 2″ long. They’re like a ball-end head pin with a small rondelle already strung on the pin.

Domed Copper Bead Caps
Antiqued copper over lead-safe pewter, 10 x 8mm dome, for 8mm bead.

Vertical Measuring Twill Tape
3/8″ wide, natural-color cotton twill. Printed on both sides.

Antique Label Holders
These would be right at home on a vintage library card catalog file cabinet.

Plastic Pearls (Strands) – New (pearl) version
3mm diameter, clear iridescent or ivory plastic pearls (pre-strung; they are attached to the string so cannot be unstrung and used as individual beads).

Man in the Moon Charms – New antique gold option

Mica Sheets
These sheets make a nostalgic window when laid over a photo (they are transparent with a tan/sepia color cast). You can peel off thinner sheets easily with your fingernail (mica is a mineral with crystals that align themselves in flat layers). It can be cut and curved if heated (it’s also a good insulator so is a safe window over/around a candle). Also known as “isinglass” (the “surrey with the fringe on top” had isinglass curtains).
